Concept Project

Concept Project. The requirements, architecture, features and technology below describe a proposed build. Testing is planned; no delivered client results are claimed.

Problem

Small teams often manage leads across inboxes and spreadsheets, making ownership and follow-up difficult to see.

Requirements

  • Capture enquiry details in a consistent format.
  • Make pipeline stage, owner and next action visible.
  • Keep access to lead information limited to the appropriate team.

Solution

A single lead workspace concept with structured intake, pipeline stages, ownership and next-action visibility.

Architecture

  1. Intake

Proposed: validate incoming enquiry fields before creating a lead record.

  2. Lead records

Proposed: store leads and ownership in Supabase with access rules for team members.

  3. Workspace

Proposed: a Next.js interface displays stages and follow-up actions.

Main Features

  • Lead intake
  • Pipeline stages
  • Owner assignment
  • Follow-up status

Technology Stack

Proposed technology stack.

  • Next.js
  • TypeScript
  • Supabase
  • Zod

Challenges

  • Design consideration: prevent duplicate enquiries from creating conflicting ownership.
  • Design consideration: keep personal lead information out of unauthorized views.

Testing

Planned

  • Validate required fields and duplicate handling.
  • Check access rules with different team roles.
  • Check that ownership and stage updates persist correctly.
